What is the right age for a DMIT test for students?

The DMIT test can be taken from as early as 3 to 4 years of age. For students, the most impactful time is between 8th and 10th standard, before stream selection decisions are made.

How is a DMIT test different from a regular IQ test?

An IQ test measures one type of intelligence — logical reasoning. A DMIT test assesses 8 different types of intelligence, including creative, social, physical, and emotional abilities, giving a much more complete picture of a student's potential.

Can a DMIT test help a student who is already in college?

Yes. College students who feel confused about their specialisation, career path, or future direction often find DMIT-based counselling helpful in gaining clarity and confidence.

Is the DMIT test result permanent or does it change?

Fingerprint patterns are formed before birth and do not change. However, how a person develops and applies their natural strengths can evolve with guidance, practice, and the right environment.

How long does the DMIT test and counselling take?

The fingerprint scanning takes just a few minutes. The detailed 105-page report is then explained during a 1 to 3 hour personalised counselling session at Turning Point.
